Is my data safe?

Passwords are hashed and never recoverable, payment keys are encrypted, and each business's data is isolated at the query level.

Passwords are hashed with BCrypt, which means nobody — including us — can read them back. If you forget one, it is reset, not looked up.

Your payment provider keys are encrypted before they are written to the database, so even a stolen copy of the database does not hand anyone the ability to charge into your account.

Every query is scoped to one business, so another Klaar customer cannot see a single row of your data, and neither can their staff.

We never see card numbers at all: payments happen on the provider's own page. Your bank details are shown on your invoices because you put them there, but we have no access to the account itself.
